How to use the Fake Text-Message Generator

Sketch a conversation for a story, a product demo, or a social post. Add messages from either side, edit each line, and use the preview to check the pacing before exporting the image.

    Name the conversation

    Set the contact name and the available time or theme options.

    Build both sides

    Edit the sample messages, choose their incoming or outgoing direction, and add or remove bubbles to form your story.

    Review the sequence

    Read from top to bottom and download the conversation image when every line is in the right order.

Tips for a better result

  • Give each message one thought so the exchange reads naturally.
  • Use short replies to vary the rhythm; a full paragraph in every bubble can overwhelm a phone-size image.
  • Keep the Mockup label visible when presenting a fictional conversation.

Does this send a text message?

No. It creates an image of a fictional conversation. It does not use a phone number, messaging service, or contact list.

Can I add messages from both people?

Yes. Each bubble can be incoming or outgoing, and you can add and remove messages using the editor controls.

Can I change the contact name?

Yes. Type the name you want in the contact field. No actual contact is looked up or changed.

Can I use it to plan dialogue for a video?

Yes. Draft a short exchange, preview the visual pacing, and export a PNG for a storyboard or a video overlay. The export is marked as a mockup.

Is the Fake Text-Message Generator free?

Yes. Use the editor and its available exports without a subscription or account. It runs in your browser; paid Caroush workspace features are separate.

Are my inputs sent to a generation service?

No. This tool processes its text and any selected images in your browser. It does not send those inputs to an AI generation service or social account. Your work is not saved after a page reload, so export the result before leaving.
