How to use the Screenshot Background Maker

Give a screenshot a little breathing room without cutting off its content. Upload an image, choose the destination canvas, and frame it with a restrained background. The entire image is fitted within your padding, so a tall screenshot and a wide screenshot keep their original proportions.

Tips for a better result

  • Choose a canvas with proportions close to the source image.
  • Use a quiet background so the screenshot stays the focus.
  • Inspect the corners to ensure rounded clipping does not hide content.

Fitting preserves the full rectangular image, though rounded corners clip its corners. Resizing cannot improve the clarity of a low-resolution source.

Frequently asked questions

Will the screenshot be cropped to fill the canvas?

No. It is fitted inside the available space with its original proportions. Set the corner radius to zero if every corner must remain visible.

Which export sizes are available?

Square, portrait, and landscape post canvases, a 1584 × 396 LinkedIn banner, and a 1500 × 500 X header. Review each platform's current crop before publishing.
